It is mined from the Himalayan mountains and is thought to be the purest form of salt on earth due to the fact that the sea beds were once protected by lava. Our Himalayan pink salt is kosher, food grade, all natural, and organic. Please note these are coarse granules and different from our finely ground Himalayan pink salt.
